About me,
A FEW NOTES FROM THE JOURNEY…
I offer spiritually focused contemplation, hypnotherapy and Gene Key studies to enhance life experience and awareness. Poetry is my jam and helps me stay connected to the natural world and my sense of ‘incarnated spirituality’. I’m also a retired acupuncturist and herbalist and I live here in southern Appalachia, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Tennessee.
Having completed graduate degrees in Chinese Medicine and Human Performance, I’ve walked my own road of resiliency in trauma recovery. Gathering many tools as I go, these are the ones I need and love most.
As my work points out, the constructs we hold around our spiritual beliefs are important to evaluate. Integrating these with authenticity is ever evolving. For me, I feel comfortable anywhere Love and Equality are present. Becoming ordained with The Alliance of Divine Love has allowed me to share and be supported in a community that holds to these values of Self-discovery.
In 1989, I was thrust into a need to establish deeper conscious contact with a Power greater than myself when I entered into the rooms of 12-Step recovery. It has been such a journey!
When people ask what religion I follow, I like to refer to myself as Christian-Plus because of my deep study and respect for its original teachings and highlighting the positive aspects within my upbrigning and learning path.
My comfort zone lies primarily within Taoist philosophy. I continually return to it. This is likely why I resonate so strongly with The Gene Keys philosophy, which recognizes the dual and non-dual facets of being an evolving Human. I have also spent three decades within the New Thought Ageless Wisdom practices that also give me a construct in which to embody the Power of Unconditional Love.

What I BELIEVE
I Believe Healing Is Governed By Two Things
First and foremost, healing is everflowing from an inner intelligence, more abundant than our minds can conceive. A vital power igniting the spark of life in each moment. This is not for anyone to give to another; it is everywhere all the time, unconditionally.
The second is your relationship to that power. Our free will. The way we approach and attend to how we engage with our inner world, other people, and the planet. This is where we have choices.
I Believe In Spacious Paradox
By offering loving-kindness to all the experiences of our being, mental and physical, we develop a spiritual inner presence. We are stabilized and reconnected from a higher perspective.
In this awareness, we embrace the yes-and principle within conflict. This relaxes the limiting mindset of either-or. We awake to the expansion of being more than our parts.
Opening this ‘Flexible Mind’ uncovers avenues for healing and clarity that couldn’t be realized before.
I Believe You
Have you been told you were being oversensitive and imagining something, or that you should just get over it? I hear these stories all the time.
Since you’ve been in your body your whole life, no one knows you better than you. I’m here to reflect back your truth from a wider angle.
I will always respect your intuition and your story as it unfolds. You are held in an expanded light and guided into your own Deep Knowing. This is the goal and the prize of the work we do together.
